    Open the Pine Editor in TradingView

    Open TradingView chart
    1. Log in (or sign up). A free account works fine.This opens in a new tab. Keep this page open so you can come back to it.
    2. Click Pine Editor on the bottom bar of the chart.Don't see it? Make your browser window wider, or look for the { } Pine icon on the right-hand toolbar.

    Paste, save, add to chart

    The editor already has some sample code in it. Swap it out completely for yours. This is the step people most often get wrong.

    1. Click anywhere inside the editor's code area.
    2. Press Ctrl + A to select all of the old code, then press Delete.The editor should now be completely empty.
    3. Press Ctrl + V to paste your GODMODE code.The first line should start with // This Pine Script.
    4. Click Save, name it GODMODE, then click Add to chart.

How to change settings: hover over the GODMODE name in the top-left of your chart, click the ⚙️ gear, change the values above, then click OK. To save them for next time, use Defaults → Save as default at the bottom of the settings window.

Get signals on your phone

Takes 60 seconds. GODMODE will ping you on every new signal, even when TradingView is closed.

  1. Install the TradingView app on your phone and log in to the same account.
  2. On your computer, open the chart and market you want to watch, then click the ⏰ Alert button in the top toolbar (or press Alt + A).
  3. Set Condition to GODMODE v4.1, then pick GODMODE · Any signal.If you only want one direction, pick GODMODE · BUY or GODMODE · SELL instead.
  4. Under Notifications, turn on Notify in app, then click Create.

Every alert is tied to one market and one timeframe, so make one for each chart you trade. Free TradingView accounts get a limited number of active alerts.

The Signal Playbook

How to read GODMODE, and the rules disciplined traders follow.

🟢Reading a signal

A BUY or SELL label prints when a candle closes and the trend shift is confirmed. The % on the label is the confidence score, which combines the AI vote, trend, higher timeframe, momentum and volume. Labels with a ★ are high-confidence setups.

Each signal also draws its Entry, SL (stop loss) and TP1 / TP2 / TP3 levels. Once TP1 is hit, the stop moves to breakeven.

📏5 rules that keep you in the game
  1. Wait for the candle to close. A signal isn't final until it does.
  2. Always use the stop loss. Losing trades will happen, and the SL keeps them small.
  3. Risk small. Many traders risk just 1–2% of their account on each trade.
  4. Pick quality over quantity. Favor ★ signals, and skip signals when the market is flat and choppy.
  5. Practice first. Watch the signals or paper trade for a week before you put real money on them.
⏱️Best timeframes and markets

GODMODE works on any market and timeframe on TradingView. Higher timeframes (15m and up) give fewer, cleaner signals. Lower timeframes give more signals but more noise. Liquid markets like large-cap stocks, BTC/ETH, major FX pairs and index futures tend to give the cleanest readings.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Stuck? Most fixes take 10 seconds

These cover almost every setup question we get.

❌Red errors / "could not compile" after pasting

This almost always means the old sample code was still in the editor, or only part of your code got copied. To fix it:

  1. Tap Copy GODMODE code in Step 1 again and wait for it to turn green.
  2. Click in the editor, press Ctrl + A, then Delete, so the editor is completely empty.
  3. Press Ctrl + V to paste, then click Save.
🔎I can't find the Pine Editor

The Pine Editor is only on TradingView's website, not in the phone app. On a computer, open tradingview.com/chart and look along the very bottom of the screen. If your window is narrow, make it wider, or check the right-hand toolbar for the { } Pine icon.

👻It's added but I don't see any signals

Scroll or zoom out on the chart. Signals only print when a trend shift is confirmed, so the most recent one might be further back. Also check that the 👁 eye icon next to GODMODE in the top-left of the chart isn't switched off, and try a different timeframe, for example 15m or 1H.

🚫"Too many indicators" / can't add it

Free TradingView accounts can only have a few indicators on a chart at the same time. Remove one you don't use: hover over its name in the top-left of the chart and click the 🗑 trash icon. Then click Add to chart again.

📱How do I use it on my phone?

Install it on a computer once (Steps 1–3). Then open the TradingView app → open any chart → tap Indicators (ƒx) → Personal (it may say My scripts) → GODMODE v4.1. It's saved to your account, so you only install it once.

🔁How do I get updates?

This page always has the newest version. When we release an update, come back here and tap Copy. Then open your saved GODMODE script in the Pine Editor, press Ctrl + A, paste the new code, and click Save. Your chart updates on its own. Get update alerts by email ↓

💻Does it work on a Chromebook, Windows or Mac?

Yes. Any computer with a web browser works. Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox are all fine. On a Mac, the key shown as Ctrl on this page is ⌘ Cmd.
